‘F1 The Movie’ Takes 1st Place…Advance Ticket Sales Leader is ‘King of Kings’ [MK Box Office]

As ‘F1 The Movie’ regains its throne, ‘Detective Conan: The Residue of the Eye’ and ‘King of Kings’ are in a close battle for the second place.

According to the integrated computer network of the Film Promotion Committee on the 18th, ‘F1 The Movie’ (directed by Joseph Kosinski) attracted 37,901 viewers the previous day, securing the top spot at the box office. The cumulative audience count is 1,540,818.

Released on the 25th of last month, ‘F1 The Movie’ tells the story of veteran driver Sonny Hayes, who, unable to become the best, joins the lowest-ranked team and challenges a race alongside a genius rookie driver. The film stars actors Brad Pitt, Javier Bardem, Kerry Condon, and Damson Idris.

In second place is the film ‘Detective Conan: The Residue of the Eye’, and in third place is ‘King of Kings’. The gap between the two animated films is just over 1,000 viewers, with respective counts of 35,711 and 34,048.

‘Noise’ (directed by Kim Soo-jin) maintained its fourth place, gathering 24,870 viewers on the same day, bringing its cumulative audience count to 1,288,507.

As of 8:35 AM on that day, the real-time advance ticket sales leader is ‘King of Kings’, with a sales rate of 1997% and 98,135 tickets sold. Following it are ‘F1 The Movie’, ‘Electronic Reader Perspective’, and ‘Detective Conan: The Residue of the Eye’ in order.
