All CGV theaters across the country will be closed for the entire day on the 14th. This is to reorganize the system and introduce new customer services.
CJ CGV stated, "All CGV locations nationwide will have a reorganization period on the 14th for the next-generation system migration work."
After the system reorganization is completed, screenings will resume at 8 AM on the 15th. Additionally, both online and offline ticket reservations will operate normally.
The CGV mobile app will also be unavailable during this period, and a new version must be downloaded after 8 AM on the 15th. Existing reservation details will remain linked.
The next-generation system will simplify movie reservations and introduce a 'Cine Talk' community where audiences can write reviews and share their thoughts about movies.
A CGV representative stated, "This is an important turning point in redesigning the overall content consumption experience for customers and upgrading the theater operation system," adding, "We will respond to the changing environment with a more sophisticated and faster operating system."
