Starring Brad Pitt, 'F1 The Movie' has surpassed the 1 million mark and has risen to 7th place in foreign film box office rankings.

According to the integrated ticketing system on the 7th, 'F1 The Movie' attracted a cumulative audience of 1,000,117 as of 11:21 AM on that day.

This marks the first time in five years that an original live-action foreign film without an existing franchise has surpassed 1 million viewers since 'Tenet' (2020). It continues to show strong box office performance in its third week without a drop in attendance.

The film tells the story of veteran driver 'Sonny Hayes', who, unable to become the best, joins the lowest-ranked team and competes in the race of a lifetime alongside a genius rookie driver.

Real viewers have responded with comments like, “I’m watching it for the third time and it’s still great. The acting, humor, visuals, and music are all fantastic. Highly recommended!” (CGV_뚱아*****), “One of the most fun movies I’ve ever seen!! I’m planning to go see it again in theaters. Highly recommend IMAX~!!” (CGV_rl**********), “The best movie I’ve seen this year. The racing scenes are overwhelming and incredibly vivid, and there’s never a dull moment throughout the film” (CGV_Ox****), “This is the movie I needed in my life right now” (CGV_su*******), “I would have regretted it greatly if I hadn’t seen it in theaters” (Megabox_dr*********), “The sound and visuals just blow away the summer heat” (Megabox_sh********), among others.
