Actor Jo Jung-seok has returned to the summer theater scene with ‘Zombie Daughter’.
On the morning of the 30th at 11 AM, a production report conference for the movie ‘Zombie Daughter’ was held at CGV Yongsan I-Park Mall in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, attended by director Pil Gam-seong, Jo Jung-seok, Lee Jung-eun, Jo Yeo-jeong, Yoon Kyung-ho, and Choi Yu-ri.
On this day, Jo Jung-seok expressed his feelings ahead of the release, saying, “Both ‘Exit’ and ‘Pilot’ were great works, but this summer I’m greeting you with ‘Zombie Daughter’. ‘Exit’ and ‘Pilot’ were released on July 31, but coincidentally, ‘Zombie Daughter’ is set to be released a day earlier on July 30. I hope for good results this time as well.”
He continued to introduce his character, saying, “The character I play, Jung-hwan, is a zookeeper for wild animals. Because of that profession, he thinks, ‘Couldn’t my daughter, who has become a zombie, be brought back through training?’ So he is a doting father who tries to train her without giving up.”
Meanwhile, ‘Zombie Daughter’, based on a webtoon of the same name, is a comic drama about a doting father who begins secret training to protect his daughter, who has become the last remaining zombie in the world. Directed by Pil Gam-seong, known for his captivating directing in works like ‘Hostage’ and ‘Lucky Day’, Jo Jung-seok plays the role of the doting father, Jung-hwan. It will be released on July 30.
