The main cast of the new film ‘Broken’ (directed by Kim Jin-hwang) will meet with the audience.
As Ha Jung-woo's new film ‘Broken’ is set to be released, it is currently ranking first in overall pre-sales. The main cast, including Kim Nam-gil, Yoo Da-in, and Jung Man-sik, will participate in stage greetings during the opening weekend. Additionally, a special GV schedule featuring actor Ju Ji-hoon and director Yoon Jong-bin has also been confirmed.
‘Broken’ tells the story of Min-tae (played by Ha Jung-woo), who relentlessly pursues the truth of that fateful night, entangled with the return of his brother's corpse, the disappearance of his brother's wife, and a bestselling novel that predicted the incident.
They will first appear for stage greetings on the weekend of the 8th and 9th. Ha Jung-woo, Kim Nam-gil, Yoo Da-in, Jung Man-sik, and director Kim Jin-hwang are expected to have a passionate meeting with the audience at major theaters in Seoul. They will respond to the audience's cheers for ‘Broken,’ which has garnered explosive interest even before its release, with heartfelt greetings, announcing the birth of a heavy and intense thriller.
Following the stage greetings, a special GV will be held to discuss the film in depth. On the 8th, Ha Jung-woo will join Ju Ji-hoon, who collaborated with him on the film ‘The Drug King,’ and director Kim Sung-hoon to share various stories about the movie at CGV Yongsan I-Park Mall.
On the 9th, at Megabox COEX, Ha Jung-woo will team up with director Yoon Jong-bin, with whom he worked on his debut film. With ‘The Chaser,’ Ha Jung-woo and director Yoon Jong-bin quickly rose to become leading figures in the South Korean film industry. All eyes are on how Ha Jung-woo, who has achieved great results working with rookie directors, will create synergy with director Kim Jin-hwang in ‘Broken.’ The GV with director Yoon Jong-bin will also include Jung Man-sik, who will share rich stories about the film.
