Actor Im Si-wan bowed his head in apology while discussing his character ‘Myung-ki’ in ‘Squid Game 2’.

On the 6th, a video was released on the channel ‘Netflix’ showing Im Si-wan and Jo Yu-ri watching ‘Squid Game 2’ (directed by Hwang Dong-hyuk, hereafter ‘Squid Game 2’) together.

In the drama, Jun-hee is dumped by Myung-ki through a ghosting. After hitting the wall of reality and feeling frustrated, he participates in the game and reunites with Myung-ki.

The two actors talked while watching the highlight video of the work. Im Si-wan particularly said, “I don’t know if I can be forgiven,” and added, “I think I should start with an apology to introduce the Myung-ki character. First of all, I apologize.”

He continued, “He was a coin YouTuber but ended up being scammed himself, causing huge losses to other investors and becoming a fugitive.” He explained, “In that situation, he participates in the game and also ghosts Jun-hee (played by Jo Yu-ri). He’s not a bad person at heart, but he’s someone who creates wrong outcomes due to a lack of wisdom.”

Additionally, he added, “Can I be forgiven? Myung-ki has crossed the river of no return.”

‘Squid Game Season 2’ tells the story of Gi-hun (played by Lee Jung-jae) who vows revenge and returns to participate in the game, and the fierce confrontation with the Front Man (played by Lee Byung-hun), along with the real game that begins again.
