The descendants of Ahn Jung-geun expressed their thoughts after watching the movie 'Harbin'.
As the film 'Harbin' approaches 1.5 million viewers, it released a video of recommendations from audiences filled with praise, along with the impressions of Ahn Jung-geun's family after watching the film.
In the video, Ahn Jung-geun's descendant, Ahn Ui-seng, said, "Seeing how much our independence fighters struggled and fought for the country brings tears to my eyes." Another descendant, Ahn Gi-nam, also shared, "I have seen plays and musicals about Ahn Jung-geun, but I have never felt such a strong sensation as I did today."
Kim Mi-gyeom, another descendant of Ahn Jung-geun, stated, "As I said at the end, even in darkness, I hope we become a nation that holds up a torch and moves forward."
Released on the 24th, 'Harbin' depicts the breathless pursuit and suspicion between those heading to Harbin for a single purpose and those chasing them in 1909. Directed by Woo Min-ho, known for 'The Chief of Namsan' and 'The Insider', the film stars Hyun Bin, Park Jung-min, Jo Woo-jin, Jeon Yeo-bin, Park Hoon, and Yoo Jae-myung.
