AI video content studio MCA participated in the "KT AI P.A.N_Next" film festival. MCA is a company that produces advertisements, music videos, short-form dramas, and films based on AI technology, and also operates AI celebrity management.

In this event co-hosted by KT and DKG (Korea Directors Guild), MCA partnered with Studio Tina to host an AI film contest starring Go Jun.

This is the Season 2 project of the world's first star-based AI film contest "Na Ya, Moon-hee," held by MCA last year. Through this contest, MCA demonstrated the new possibilities and impact of AI video content combined with real stars.

Most AI films feature fictional characters as protagonists, which has limited the popular spread of AI films. However, AI films starring real stars have shown that they can enhance familiarity with the public and significantly contribute to the popularization of AI films.

The "KT AI P.A.N_Next" event was held on the 10th at the Sofitel Ambassador Hotel in Seoul. Over 300 attendees, including contest winners, directors Min Kyu-dong, Jang Hoon, Kang Yoon-sung, Kim Han-gyeol, actors Jo Woo-jin, Go Jun, and musicians Epik High, participated in the successful event.

In the main program of the event, MCA's CEO Park Jae-soo, director Jang Hoon, and actor Go Jun jointly presented the impact that video content combining stars and AI could have on the market and future IP planning strategies. MCA clearly demonstrated that it is a platform studio that maximizes the value of stars and connects the creations of AI artists to industrial achievements. Additionally, it proved its capabilities across planning, production, and distribution, ensuring differentiation within the industry.

The award-winning works of this contest featured national treasure actress Na Moon-hee participating as a lead and special guest alongside actor Go Jun, adding depth to the works and generating significant buzz. This marks a symbolic first case of a real star co-starring in an AI film. The participation of actors spanning generations, including Go Jun, showcased the potential impact on the expansion of AI content.

In particular, this contest was further meaningful as Go Jun's agency Studio Tina and Na Moon-hee's agency Content Park Entertainment participated together, creating a new industrial model where stars, studios, and AI artists collaborate.

MCA's CEO Park Jae-soo stated, "Actor Go Jun has once again proven to be a shining star in the AI era with his strong presence and broad acting spectrum through this contest," and added, "MCA plans to continue hosting AI film contests featuring other star actors in the future, and as an AI video content studio, we will lead the next-generation video paradigm based on the impact created by the fusion of stars and AI."
