Actor Jo Hyun-cheol received the Best New Director award at the Blue Dragon Film Awards for his film 'You and I'.
Jo Hyun-cheol won the Best New Director trophy at the 45th Blue Dragon Film Awards ceremony held on the 29th at 8:30 PM at KBS Hall in Yeouido, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul.
Jo Hyun-cheol said, "It's scary to see Park Jung-min watching from behind," and added, "I really can't think of anything. I'm grateful to Park Jung-min for participating in our film despite the difficulties. Thank you to the actors. I sincerely thank the PD who has been with us during the long preparation period for the film. Our movie is still in theaters. Please watch it in the theater," he urged.
Following Kim Hye-soo, who stepped down from the host position last year as the "Woman of the Blue Dragon," this year's Blue Dragon Film Awards were hosted by actors Lee Je-hoon and Han Ji-min. The nominees for Best Picture included 'Veteran 2', 'Spring in Seoul', 'Burial', 'Fast Lives', and 'Handsome Guys'.
