Actor Jin Tae-hyun proudly announced that his adopted daughter Han Ji-hye ranked 5th in the National Sports Festival.

On the 19th, Jin Tae-hyun posted on SNS, "Our Ji-hye ranked 5th in the 106th National Sports Festival! Han Ji-hye from Gyeonggi-do! Proud. Amazing. Let's gain a lot of experience! This is just the beginning," and added, "Fighting for Korean women's marathon!"

Previously, Jin Tae-hyun revealed on SNS that his daughter would participate as a marathon runner in the 106th National Sports Festival held in Busan.

He said, "The countless sweat shed all summer is the result of sincere training," and added, "I remember when Ji-hye first said to us, 'I want to be a good adult like you two.' That one sentence made me think deeply. I have never thought of myself as a good person since I was born. So I decided to truly become a good adult for this friend, and that's why we became a family that eats together and takes care of each other."

He continued, "There is no live broadcast for this competition. So I want to cheer even harder. If you all send warm support together, I believe Ji-hye, representing Gyeonggi-do, will not give up and will finish strong. Rankings are not everything. However, for athletes, results and records are everything. I sincerely hope that only those athletes who run to the end and surpass their limits can enjoy the rewards of their sweat."

He expressed his affection by saying, "Although we are not her biological parents, as a family that always watches over her training process and eats together, I pray and support her to finish well."

Meanwhile, Jin Tae-hyun and Park Si-eun developed their relationship while working together in the SBS drama 'Pumpkin Flower's Purity,' which ended in 2011, and got married in July 2015. The couple adopted a college student daughter in 2019 and announced that they adopted two more daughters this year.
