Actor Shin Gu (90) is currently battling heart failure, but he has recently shared updates that show he is in better health, drawing attention.
On the 16th, actor Kim Seul-gi posted a photo on her SNS account featuring herself with Shin Gu, showing the two sitting side by side and posing affectionately. Notably, there was a cake shaped like the number '90' with the message, "Congratulations on your 90th birthday, Teacher Shin Gu," which caught the eye.
The two have previously collaborated in the play "Henri Grandpa and Me." At that time, they received great love from the audience for their chemistry that transcended generational differences.
On that day, Shin Gu appeared noticeably thinner but wore a bright smile, still exuding positive energy. He shared a heart gesture with his senior, Kim Seul-gi, creating a warm atmosphere.

Previously, Shin Gu appeared on tvN's "You Quiz on the Block" last year and confessed, "I was diagnosed with heart failure and am currently wearing a pacemaker."
He explained, "My heart doesn't beat normally and beats slowly. If left untreated, it can lead to a lack of oxygen and a stroke. That's why I got a pacemaker to regulate my heartbeat," adding, "When the heart beats slowly, it gives electrical stimulation to create a normal rhythm."
He also mentioned, "There were tough times when fluid accumulated in my lungs, but I thought I must keep my promise to perform on stage," showing his enduring passion for acting. He later appeared in the movie "High Five," reassuring fans with his healthy appearance.
