Actors Ha Seung-ri and Hyun-woo are set to take charge of weekday nights with a tumultuous love story.

The new daily drama 'Mari and the Unusual Dads' (directed by Seo Yong-soo, written by Kim Hong-joo), which is scheduled to premiere in October, depicts the journey of Mari searching for her clumsy dad! It tells the story of the birth of an unusual family that is thicker than blood and more tenacious than sperm.

Ha Seung-ri plays the role of the girl head of the family, Kang Mari, who is responsible for her accident-prone family and is pursuing her dream of becoming a doctor. Hyun-woo portrays Lee Kang-se, a first-year resident with a warm heart who always conveys bright energy. As interest in the story filled with joy, anger, and sorrow surrounding the 'parent-child scandal' rises, the lead actors Ha Seung-ri and Hyun-woo introduced the charm and viewing points of the work.

Ha Seung-ri, who plays Kang Mari at the center of the parent-child scandal, expressed her affection by saying, "I really liked the cheerful and straightforward script," adding, "All the characters and stories are alive with various charms." In particular, she noted, "If you pay attention to how the tangled relationships unfold, you will find it even more enjoyable," raising the viewing desire of potential audiences.

Ha Seung-ri, who said she was confident as soon as she read the first line stating that "Mari is a typical T-type," prepared herself with a mindset of "being ready to accept and confront any situation" to portray a character raised in a challenging family environment, sparking curiosity about her unique interpretation of Kang Mari.

Hyun-woo described his character Lee Kang-se as "someone who may seem somewhat blunt on the outside, but is a warm person with genuine consideration for those around him." Regarding the character preparation process, he revealed, "I thought it was important to naturally express the bonds and human aspects of family, so I delicately studied everyday speech and gestures," raising expectations for his performance.

Hyun-woo explained 'Mari and the Unusual Dads' as "a family drama that touches the heart with a story that anyone can relate to and a warm message," confidently stating, "Please watch how the conflicts, reconciliations, and growth of each character are portrayed. The authenticity of watching a real family story will be a great source of enjoyment."

Another key point for 'Mari and the Unusual Dads' is the excellent teamwork. Ha Seung-ri and Hyun-woo each expressed, "We are always working with smiles thanks to each other's consideration," and "The comfortable atmosphere allows for natural immersion," creating a warm atmosphere with mutual compliments. They noted, "With actors who are comfortable like family, natural performances emerge," drawing attention not only to their chemistry but also to that of the other family members.

Ha Seung-ri stated, "I hope it becomes a work that we can laugh and empathize together. Please show a lot of interest and love." Hyun-woo also expressed his determination, saying, "I hope for a lot of support for a work that can make you feel laughter, emotion, and the importance of family. I will also repay you with good acting."

'Mari and the Unusual Dads' will premiere on October 13 at 8:30 PM as a follow-up to 'Catch the Big Luck.'
