Singer Lee Moon-sae mourned the late Jeon Yoo-seong, who was his 'debut benefactor.'
On the 27th, Lee Moon-sae posted a long message on his Instagram along with a broadcast video featuring Jeon Yoo-seong.
He recalled, "I received the heartbreaking news of his passing just before the Vancouver concert," and added, "A few days ago, I got a message from him saying, 'I miss you, can you come?' There was a lot of meaning in that short message."
He continued, "I promised to visit him as soon as I returned to Korea after the concert, but he was quite impatient," and shared, "I was in a daze all day yesterday."
Lee Moon-sae expressed his longing, saying, "He was a truly great figure in the entertainment industry, someone who opened the door for me to pursue music and broadcasting, and who has cared for me until now, giving me a love so great that I could never repay it even in a lifetime, my brother Jeon Yoo-seong."
He added, "I was always grateful. Please rest well in a place without pain or suffering. I will visit you when I go to Korea."
Meanwhile, the late Jeon Yoo-seong passed away on the 25th at 9:05 PM at Jeonbuk National University Hospital due to lung cancer. He was 76 years old.
The funeral for the deceased is being held at Asan Medical Center in Seoul as a ceremony for the President of the Korea Comedy Association (for comedians). The farewell ceremony and burial will take place at 7 AM on the 28th, followed by a ritual at KBS. The final resting place is in Inwol-myeon, Namwon-si, Jeollabuk-do.
