The group LE SSERAFIM has graced the cover of a fashion magazine wearing hanbok.
On the afternoon of the 20th, fashion magazine 'Elle Korea' revealed a photoshoot featuring LE SSERAFIM (Kim Chaewon, Sakura, Heo Yunjin, Kazuha, Hong Eunchae) in hanbok on their official social media. This photoshoot was featured on the cover of the October issue of Elle, produced in a book-in-book format called 'Super Elle'. With the upcoming Chuseok holiday in October, the hanbok photoshoot feels even more special.
The concept of the photoshoot is 'pearl'. It visually expresses the team's growth, future, and musical narrative by likening it to a pearl. The five members wear hanbok in soft colors, showcasing their elegant demeanor.
Kim Chaewon wears a jokduri (traditional headpiece) and gazes deeply into the camera. Sakura perfectly embodies a vintage hanbok that highlights graceful curves. Heo Yunjin exudes an elegant aura in a hanbok with a mysterious blue hue. Kazuha neatly ties her hair up, drawing attention with her beautiful profile. Hong Eunchae boasts a beauty that surpasses the purple flower she uses as a prop.

In an interview following the photoshoot, the five members expressed their admiration for hanbok, stating, "The harmony of tradition and modernity is beautiful." Reflecting on the concept of pearls, they mentioned, "A pearl is the result of pain and time. We think it resembles us," and "Just like a pearl is born after overcoming the pain caused by foreign substances that burrow into the shell, we want to be like pearls who wisely endure patience and hardships."
They also shared their thoughts on the ongoing world tour '2025 LE SSERAFIM TOUR 'EASY CRAZY HOT''. "The most meaningful part was that we could stand on that stage through our own efforts. It was possible thanks to the hard work of all K-pop seniors," they conveyed. They reminisced about a touching moment, saying, "Even though the languages are all different, we were moved by how everyone sang along to the Korean lyrics loudly enough to be heard over the in-ear monitors."
More photos and interviews of LE SSERAFIM can be found in the October issue of 'Elle', as well as on their official website and social media channels.
