Jeongsuk, a participant from 'I Am Solo' Season 27, has taken legal action against malicious rumors and defamatory comments surrounding her.
According to the broadcasting industry, Jeongsuk filed a lawsuit against 30 individuals for defamation and insult under the Information and Communications Network Act at the Pohang Northern Police Station in Gyeongbuk on the 16th.
She denied the allegations of school violence raised during the broadcast, stating that she would take a strong stance against the defamatory expressions and false facts posted on online communities such as 'I Am Solo Gallery' from July until recently.
Previously, Jeongsuk appeared on the YouTube channel of the production company, Chonjang Entertainment, to directly refute claims that "Jeongsuk bullied the class outcast" and "she sowed discord among people."
She clarified, "I have never hit or bullied anyone during my school days," adding, "I only have memories of eating school meals with a friend whom I felt sorry for."
Jeongsuk also mentioned, "I have photos with the former classmate who first spread the false information," and expressed, "I want to confront them directly and receive an apology for why they made me out to be the perpetrator." She continued, "This incident has caused me significant mental distress and I have lost the peace of my daily life."
