‘I Am Solo’ Season 7 Young-sook revealed that she was a victim of marriage fraud by a foreign man.

On the 15th, Young-sook shared on her SNS, “I haven’t been able to share my story until now, and many people have been curious, so I want to express my position. Unfortunately, I became a victim of marriage fraud.”

Young-sook stated, “(My ex-husband) approached me as if it was his first marriage while hiding the fact that he had been married twice before. When I first met him, he was already in his second marriage with a Japanese wife, and he was secretly filing for divorce while preparing for our marriage. He even cheated on me with several women while we were preparing for our wedding.”

She continued, “I only learned about these shocking facts one by one in December 2024, after completing three extravagant weddings.” She added, “I still loved him and tried my best to keep the family together. However, he did not change at all, and instead, he tormented me with insults and abusive behavior as time went on.”

Young-sook emphasized, “I want to make it clear now. I had three weddings, but I never lived as a couple nor did we register our marriage. (He must have intentionally delayed and avoided registering the marriage) In a way, it’s a relief. I can end it here.”

She expressed, “Many people have worried that I shouldn’t disclose this, but I believe that as a victim, I have no reason to hide or feel intimidated. I will no longer suffer and will live stronger and happier while protecting my life.”

Meanwhile, Young-sook appeared on the ENA and SBS Plus dating program ‘I Am Solo’ Gold Special, which aired in 2022, introducing herself as a 4-year practicing lawyer born in 1981.
