Actress Han Gain expressed her regret about having a long hiatus in her acting career due to childbirth and parenting after marriage.
On the 11th, a video titled "What Happens When Han Gain, Who Has Almost No Celebrity Friends, Meets Her True Friend Actress 'Shin Hyun-bin' (Current Status of 'Hospital Playlist' Character Jang Kyung-wool)" was uploaded on her YouTube channel 'Free Woman Han Gain'.
On this day, Han Gain met fellow actress Shin Hyun-bin, with whom she formed a bond through the OCN drama 'Mistress' aired in 2018.
She confessed, "I don't have many friends in the entertainment industry," adding, "There is a wall that forms, and it's not easy to open up due to the nature of the job," which is why she introduced Shin Hyun-bin as a precious connection.
While chatting with Shin Hyun-bin, she revealed her feelings about being on a break from acting for seven years, saying, "I got married early, had a baby, and I haven't been able to focus on my acting career," and added, "I feel envious watching Hyun-bin continue to work without getting married."
She continued, "I also have regrets like, 'If I had worked in acting without getting married, could I have continued steadily?'" and expressed, "Seeing Hyun-bin establish herself in dramas makes me feel both envious and proud."
Han Gain made her comeback with 'Mistress' six years after the successful hit of the MBC drama 'The Moon Embracing the Sun' in 2012, but it did not receive good reviews. Since then, she has not found a new project for seven years. Additionally, she has not appeared in a new film since the successful release of 'Architecture 101' in 2012, which was 13 years ago.
