On the 12th, Kang Won-rae posted a photo on his SNS with the message, "I sincerely congratulate Jun-yeop on his birthday, September 11, 1969."
The published photo features a young Kang Won-rae and Gu Jun-yeop. Kang Won-rae added the hashtags, "Let's meet again with bright smiles. #GuJunyeop #Birthday #Congratulations," conveying his congratulations to Gu Jun-yeop, who celebrated his birthday on the 11th.

Earlier, in February, Gu Jun-yeop's wife, the late Seo Hee-won, suddenly passed away from acute pneumonia while on a trip to Japan.

Kang Won-rae, who formed Clon with singer Gu Jun-yeop in 1996, stopped his activities after being diagnosed with lower body paralysis due to a motorcycle accident in 2000.

Kang Won-rae participated in the opening ceremony of the Pyeongchang Paralympics in March 2018 as part of Clon, moving many people. Additionally, he enrolled in the graduate school of Myongji University in 2020, obtained a master's degree, and was appointed as a professor in the Department of Sports Arts at Dongdae University.
