
Actress Lee Cheol-min's daughter Lee Shin-hyang is making her acting debut.
A representative from her agency Krios Entertainment stated on the 12th to Maeil Business Star Today, “It is true that Lee Shin-hyang will be appearing in the play ‘Special Boeing Boeing’.”
Lee Shin-hyang is reported to have been cast after overcoming a fierce audition competition with a ratio of 100 to 1. It is said that she secured the role without her father Lee Cheol-min's help during the audition.
The play ‘Special Boeing Boeing’, in which Lee Shin-hyang will appear, will be performed at Daehakro Starit Hall from November 1 to February 1 next year, and it is a comedy that revolves around the antics of a womanizer, George Seop, who has three beautiful stewardess girlfriends.
Based on a French original that has been loved and performed in over 50 countries worldwide, it has been introduced in Korea since 2001 through adaptations and revisions by director Son Nam-mok, and has been cherished in Daehakro for 24 years.
Lee Shin-hyang will play the role of the overly charming and lovely stewardess Lee Ji-soo in the play.
Having majored in musical theater at Hanyang Women's University, Lee Shin-hyang is recently gaining recognition alongside her father Lee Cheol-min by appearing on tvN STORY’s ‘My Child's Romance’.
