Singer Im Ji-soo expresses emotions in 'My Youth' with 'Horizon'.
The second OST 'Horizon' for the new JTBC Friday series 'My Youth' (written by Park Si-hyun, directed by Lee Sang-yeob, Ko Hye-jin, provided by SLL, produced by High Zium Studio), featuring Im Ji-soo's vocals, will be released on the 12th at 6 PM through various online music sites.
'Horizon' is the theme song that closely touches the intersecting emotional lines of the two main characters, Sun Woo-hae (played by Song Joong-ki) and Seong Je-yeon (played by Chun Woo-hee), with Im Ji-soo's unique restrained singing style and calm tone quietly penetrating the center of the drama.
The minimal arrangement centered around piano and guitar gently elevates the emotional density, and in the middle of the song, all instruments surge in, richly layering the complex inner worlds of the two characters. Within the stable development based on modern rock, Im Ji-soo's vocals embrace emotions as if they were a distant and serene horizon. It is expected to become another main character that emotionally drives the drama, further intensifying the narrative of 'My Youth'.
Meanwhile, 'My Youth' is an emotional romance that depicts the story of Sun Woo-hae (played by Song Joong-ki), who starts a normal life later than others, and Seong Je-yeon (played by Chun Woo-hee), who unexpectedly has to disrupt the tranquility of her first love, airing every Friday night at 8:50 PM.
