In this video, Kim Jong-kook personally shared the news with his closest friends before the wedding. His manager and juniors were skeptical, asking, “Who are you marrying?” and “No way,” to which Kim Jong-kook jokingly replied, “With a woman,” and “If it were a speeding violation at my age, it would be a blessing.” However, he firmly stated, “It is not a speeding violation.”
Kim Jong-kook emphasized, “My mother hasn’t been appearing much on ‘My Ugly Duckling’ these days. I really wanted to keep it quiet,” adding, “I will only invite really close acquaintances. It’s right to do it with just close friends.”
He continued, “The person who will be my wife wants it quiet. I do too. I thought about talking about it after getting married,” explaining that the wedding was held privately according to the bride's wishes.
When asked about the reason for getting married, he replied, “What’s the reason for getting married if it’s because I love her?” and regarding his wife's qualities, he said, “They are all advantages,” showing his true love for her.
