Park Chang-hyun (38), a former MBC announcer, revealed his relationship status while appearing on the MBN entertainment program ‘Dolsing Singles 6’.
On the 9th, Park Chang-hyun posted on his social media, “My ideal type is ‘someone who resembles me, enjoys taking care of others, and is bright and positive.’ Her ideal type is ‘a kind and warm person, someone responsible.’ When we talked about our ideal types, we realized that we are exactly those kinds of people,” along with a photo of his girlfriend's back.
Park Chang-hyun expressed his affection for his girlfriend, saying, “We have so much in common. From MBTI to preferences, ways of thinking, values, attitudes towards people, parenting mindset, and even experiences from previous marriages. There are things that cannot be expressed in words that we also share. Even when we are together, we are people who understand each other without needing to try hard to accept and understand a lot.”
He added, “Now, I want to build enough time together. I want to see what we can do together and whether the things we are currently handling can harmonize well in the process. It’s a bit embarrassing to make our relationship public, but I would appreciate it if you could view it positively and support us.”
Park Chang-hyun joined MBC as a public announcer in 2013. During his time there, he showcased his hosting skills in various programs such as ‘MBC News’, ‘Sports Magazine’, ‘Radio Magazine Talk with Park Chang-hyun’, and ‘Before Sunrise with Park Chang-hyun’, and he left MBC in August of last year.
He married a partner two years younger in 2016 but divorced last year after seven years. Following this, he appeared on the MBN entertainment program ‘Dolsing Singles 6’, which deals with the love stories of divorced men and women, and drew attention by revealing his current situation of raising his daughter alone after the divorce.
