Lim Jae-wook, the keyboardist of the band Stray, has passed away after a long battle with illness.
On the 7th, Stray announced, "Our precious member who filled the stage with us, our beloved keyboardist Lim Jae-wook, has left us after a long battle with illness."
They continued, "All five members who started the band together gathered today to complete the funeral and walked the last path together, and now we wish to send him off while keeping him deep in our hearts."
They also expressed, "Even during his illness, our eldest brother Jae-wook never lost his cheerfulness and became a great support for all of us with his warm music. We pray that he rests peacefully in a place without pain," adding, "We will forever remember the times we shared laughter and tears through music. The melodies and heart he left behind will continue to live on in our hearts and those of our fans."
Stray debuted in 2014 with the digital single album 'You Are Not Here.' The concert scheduled for the 14th will proceed as planned.
