Tving's original ‘Dear X’ has addressed concerns regarding the similarity of its launch poster to the poster of the Chinese film ‘The Devotion of Suspect X’.

On the 9th, the ‘Dear X’ team stated in an official position, “We have belatedly recognized the similarity of the ‘Dear X’ launch poster to certain references and have immediately decided to suspend its use and not use it in the future,” adding, “We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by not carefully overseeing the production process.”

They also added, “We will pay attention to ensure that similar incidents do not occur again through a thorough inspection process.”

‘Dear X’ depicts the story of a masked woman, Baek Ah-jin (played by Kim Yoo-jung), who tries to escape from hell and rise to the highest place, along with the Xs who were brutally trampled by her.

Starring actors Kim Yoo-jung, Kim Young-dae, Kim Do-hoon, and Lee Yeol-eum, it will be released on November 6.
