Reports about actress Song Da-eun's new agency contract, which reignited dating rumors with BTS member Jimin, have been confirmed to be false.
According to Merry-Go-Round Company on the 27th, Song Da-eun has never signed an exclusive contract with them.
The agency explained, “Song Da-eun is one of the members of the TikTok agency crew operated by Merry-Go-Round Company.”
On the same day, a media outlet reported that Song Da-eun had signed an exclusive contract with Merry-Go-Round Company and was active as a signed artist.
Meanwhile, Song Da-eun recently fueled dating rumors by posting a video on TikTok featuring her with Jimin.
In the video released through online communities, Song Da-eun is seen waiting for someone in an apartment elevator. When the elevator doors open, the face of BTS member Jimin is captured.
Upon seeing Song Da-eun, Jimin said, “Oh, you surprised me. Did you know I was coming in? I came in without saying anything on purpose.” The apartment is known to be Nine One Hannam in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, where Jimin resides.
Previously, Song Da-eun and Jimin have been embroiled in dating rumors multiple times since 2022.
In May of last year, Song Da-eun posted and then deleted several posts on her SNS that reminded people of Jimin. She shared a photo of herself wearing a BTS merchandise t-shirt and revealed earphones labeled ‘Da-eun (다은)’ and ‘Jimin (지민)’.
Song Da-eun gained recognition after appearing on ‘Heart Signal 2’ in 2018 and has been active as an actress since then.
