Singer and broadcaster Kim Jong-kook broke his silence by posting on SNS about four days after his marriage announcement.
On the 22nd, Kim Jong-kook shared a thumbnail photo and content link from his YouTube channel 'Jim Jong-kook' on his SNS.
In the released thumbnail, Kim Jong-kook is seen exercising to grow taller with Choi Han-jin, Chanyeol, and Ma Seon-ho.
In the opening of the content, Ma Seon-ho started by saying to Kim Jong-kook, "Didn’t you suddenly ask me two days ago if a sperm test was possible?"
Previously, Kim Jong-kook had posted content about male hormone testing. The PD also added humor by saying, "I got a call from you too."
Meanwhile, on the 18th, Kim Jong-kook posted a handwritten letter on his fan cafe, declaring, "I’m getting married."
He stated, "I’m sure many of you feel this is sudden. This year marks my 30th anniversary since debut, but instead of making the album I wanted, I’ve found my other half," and added, "It may be late, but how fortunate it is to be going this way. I will strive to live well."
Kim Jong-kook is reported to be holding a private wedding on September 5th in Seoul, inviting close friends and family.
SBS's 'Running Man', in which Kim Jong-kook appears, has also announced that it will air the 'Kim Jong-kook marriage announcement' segment earlier than scheduled, moving it to August 31st instead of the originally planned September 7th.
