Park Seo-jin sang a final song for his two brothers who passed away first.
On the afternoon of the 14th, KBS2's 'Salim Nam 2' (hereafter 'Salim Nam') featured Park Seo-jin's family, who were busy preparing for the concert.
In the broadcast, Park Seo-jin's mother said, "Did you bring in the groceries? What is this at home? Where has your father gone? Why did he go to the recording studio? What is he doing?" as she looked for her husband.
The father, who loved singing, was singing alone, and the mother complained, "You should ventilate the house and clean up the mess! Your son is preparing hard for the concert... We need to ventilate for the concert to go well," as she expressed her frustrations. Waking up, Seo-jin said, "About 7,000 people will come in two days. Is cleanliness a blessing?" and hesitated at the nagging to clean.
Additionally, the mother suggested, "You should wear red underwear for good luck! Try it on," and the father humorously put underwear on his head, making everyone laugh. Under pressure from his family, Seo-jin said, "The concert is about skill. If you prepare well, your skills will show," and tried to avoid the situation.
Lying on the bed, Seo-jin found his pillow uncomfortable and tore it open, seeing red beans spill out. He protested, "What is this?! That's just a superstition," and his mother recalled, "It happened because of an accident I had a long time ago."
Seo-jin revealed, "On the day of my first album release concert, my parents' boat had a hole and was sinking. If things had gone wrong, both of them could have passed away," sharing a backstory. The mother said, "It was really terrifying. Whenever I think of the concert... I was sleeping and said, 'My stomach keeps getting crushed. Check it out,' but the boat was already half-sunk," she recounted. The father added, "No matter what measures we took, it kept sinking. So I even gave my life jacket to my wife, saying, 'You survive. I can't do this anymore,' but my wife pulled me up, and after a lot of twists and turns, I survived," which saddened the panelists.
Seo-jin expressed, "I felt a bit sorry when my mom was shouting. But I feel bad that I might be getting angry when she is just worried," apologizing to his parents.
The day of the concert arrived, and Lee Min-woo's parents visited Park Seo-jin's family. Especially, Min-woo's mother said, "Sir! You look so cool. You look much better in person than on TV. I wanted to bring more, but I couldn't carry it," bringing food for 100 people. Seo-jin's mother was touched, saying, "Why did you bring so much? It's more than a feast... You must have worked really hard," and Min-woo's mother waved her hand, saying, "It's Seo-jin's concert day! Just thinking of Seo-jin makes my pain go away." Min-woo's mother said, "Call me aunt~ You don't know how cute my nephew is," showing affection for Seo-jin, who replied, "I usually don't eat during performances, but it's so delicious that I can't help it," enjoying the meal.
Afterward, Park Seo-jin's concert began, and he said, "'I found out I was in a coma' and I will sing 'Star Star.' This will be the last time for this song. I am now going to let go of my brothers in my heart," preparing to say goodbye to his brothers who had passed away.
Watching this stage, Seo-jin's father couldn't hold back his tears and eventually went outside, saying, "Last night, while I was lying down, my eldest brother appeared in my dream holding a gong, and my third brother was holding a drum... But since you said you would let go of your brothers today, I was holding onto them until now, and now that you say you will let them go, I can't help but cry..." expressing his sorrow.
