SEVENTEEN's S.Coups (Choi Seung-cheol) continued his good deeds by donating 50 million won for children from low-income families on his birthday.
The Community Chest of Korea announced on the 8th that S.Coups has become the 3710th member of the Honor Society.
The donation will be used for the meal expenses of children at risk of going hungry during the summer vacation. It will be utilized to support the healthy growth of vulnerable children, primarily through local children's centers across the country.
S.Coups stated, "Thanks to the love from fans, my birthday has become special every year," and added, "I wanted to give back the love I received to society. I support the healthy growth of all children and teenagers."
He has consistently practiced sharing in various fields, including child welfare and animal protection. He has supported animal shelters and rescue organizations, and actively participated in donation activities during disasters, such as donating relief funds for the wildfire victims in Ulsan, Gyeongbuk, and Gyeongnam last March.
SEVENTEEN is continuing their active activities as they celebrate their 10th anniversary since debut. Their 5th studio album 'HAPPY BURSTDAY,' released in May, topped the Circle Chart's first half of the year album chart, and the title track 'THUNDER' reached number one on the Melon Top 100.
They are set to kick off their world tour 'SEVENTEEN WORLD TOUR [NEW]' at the Incheon Asiad Main Stadium in September, and will perform on stages around the world, including Hong Kong, North America, and Japan.
