Actor Jang Hyuk-jin paid tribute to Song Young-kyu, who suddenly passed away.
On the 4th, Jang Hyuk-jin posted on his Instagram account, "Hyung. You must have been very tired, scared, and worried. I should have called. The world... goodbye," remembering the deceased.
He added, "To me, you were such a good person. Let's meet again later. Rest well."
Jang Hyuk-jin had previously worked with the late Song Young-kyu in the SBS Friday-Saturday drama 'Try: We Become Miracles.'
Song Young-kyu was found dead in a car in a residential area in Cheoin-gu, Yongin, at around 8 AM that day. A friend discovered him unconscious in the vehicle and reported it, and no suicide note was found at the scene.
On June 19, he was sent to the prosecution without detention on charges of driving under the influence after driving from Giheung-gu to his home in Cheoin-gu while intoxicated. His blood alcohol concentration was found to exceed the license revocation threshold of 0.08%.
As a result, he withdrew from the play 'Shakespeare in Love,' in which he was performing. The ENA Monday-Tuesday drama 'I Shopping' and the SBS Friday-Saturday drama 'Try: We Become Miracles' became his final works.
The deceased's mortuary has been set up in Room 1 of the special funeral hall at Davos Hospital in Yongin. The funeral will take place at 8 AM on the 6th.
