The birth of a girl group made up of SNS star creators.
On the 28th, the new media entertainment startup Pi Corporation announced the pre-debut news of I MET U along with the release of a single in October.
This new release is a special project for fans who have been waiting for I MET U's debut for a long time since the conclusion of the TikTok girl group survival show 'Time Turner' aired last year.
In particular, I MET U will hold a group live session titled 'build for u' on their official TikTok channel from 7 AM to 9 AM (Korean time) on the 28th to create a time for direct communication with fans before their pre-debut.
I MET U is the final debut team of 'Time Turner', and their name is derived from the letters IME TU, excluding the initials T and RNER from 'TIME TURNER'. The group consists of four members: Kelly, Yerin, Ria, and Cleo, and they are embarking on their journey as 'creatiners'.
'Creatiner' is a neologism that combines Creator and Entertainer, referring to artists who plan their own content and interact with fans in various ways. All members of I MET U, including Kelly and Ria, who have 7 million and 5 million SNS followers respectively, have qualified as 'creatiners' through their active individual activities.
I MET U is set to release their pre-debut song in October and will officially debut in the first half of 2026.
