Actor Jung Eun-pyo's son, Jung Ji-woong, shared his recent update after losing 50kg in the military.

On the 23rd, a video titled "Jung Eun-pyo's son Jung Ji-woong, successful 50kg weight loss! First reveal of his transformed appearance!" was posted on singer Sean's YouTube channel 'With Sean'.

In the released video, Jung Ji-woong appeared alongside his father, Jung Eun-pyo, and decided to run with Sean instead of his father, who has knee issues.

Jung Ji-woong, who entered Seoul National University, revealed that he had gained weight up to 120kg while preparing for the entrance exam before joining the military. When asked about his current weight, he said, "I weigh about 73-75kg now," and Sean expressed surprise, saying, "So you've lost almost 50kg."

Jung Ji-woong mentioned, "After losing weight, I can't bear to watch the shows I appeared in before," and added, "I also enjoy climbing as a hobby, and running is similar; all sports work better when the body is light, so my goal is to lose weight down to 60kg."

While in the military, Jung Ji-woong ran seven days a week, stating, "I ran 10km in the morning during physical training and another 10km in the evening," and he aims to maintain this by trying to run at least five days a week after leaving the military.

Regarding the reason for his weight loss, he explained, "I wanted to achieve something while going to the military, and I thought losing weight would be the best thing to accomplish there," adding, "Since I was in an administrative position, I didn't have tough training, but even in that role, I had to match the fitness level of others to get vacation days, so I ran a total of 1000km and received a maximum of 4 days off."

Jung Ji-woong, who felt lethargic in daily life before going to the military, noted that his feelings changed significantly after losing weight, stating, "I plan to maintain this going forward."

Jung Ji-woong gained recognition by appearing in various family entertainment shows such as 'Bungeoppang' and 'Yuja's Good Life' in 2009. He received public congratulations after announcing his acceptance to Seoul National University in 2022.
