The Netflix series 'Eama', starring Lee Ha-nee, which captures the raw reality of the film industry surrounding the representative erotic film of the 1980s, 'Eama Woman', and the exhilarating solidarity of two women who confront it head-on, will be released worldwide on August 22.

'Eama' is inspired by the birth story of erotic films that shook the Korean film industry in the 1980s, depicting the hidden power and desire behind it, as well as the solidarity of two women. The story unfolds around the fierce confrontation of top star 'Hee-ran' (Lee Ha-nee) and rookie actress 'Joo-ae' (Bang Hyo-rin) under the glamorous spotlight.

'Eama' is the first series directed by director Lee Hae-young, who has gained attention for his unique worldview in films like 'Drug King', 'Ghost', and 'Madonna, the Strongest in the World'. In addition to Lee Ha-nee, the fresh combination of strong actors such as Jin Sun-kyu, Jo Hyun-cheol, and Bang Hyo-rin is highly anticipated.

The teaser poster released on the 24th caught attention by depicting the contrasting appearances of the two protagonists against the backdrop of a theater featuring the film 'Eama Woman'. In particular, the phrase "In an era of only stripping, we turn it upside down" leaves a strong impression, hinting at the bold solidarity of women resisting the oppression of the times.

The teaser trailer reveals the conflicts and the raw reality of power hidden behind the glamorous facade of Chungmuro in the 1980s. Top star Hee-ran boldly declares a boycott to the production company representative Koo Jung-ho (Jin Sun-kyu) in response to a script focused on exposure, but ultimately cannot avoid appearing in 'Eama Woman' due to contractual obligations. In response, Koo Jung-ho demotes Hee-ran to a supporting role and discovers the audacious rookie Joo-ae through a large-scale audition with rookie director Kwak In-woo (Jo Hyun-cheol).

"Please make me Jeong Hee-ran," Joo-ae provocatively states, to which Hee-ran responds, "Interesting," foreshadowing a tense psychological battle between the two women. Amidst the conflicts and power struggles surrounding the film production, Hee-ran and Joo-ae prepare to deliver a 'blow' to the times in their own ways.

The various sets and costumes that recreate Chungmuro at the time, along with the sensory styling, enhance the immersion of the work and bring out the details of the era.
