An incident has occurred where a drama production filming team unlawfully entered and used a cafe after business hours without prior consent, sparking controversy.

On the afternoon of the 10th, JTBC 'Newsroom' reported on a drama production filming team that brought filming equipment into a cafe that had already closed for business and used its furnishings without permission.

According to the report, Mr. A, the owner of a cafe in Donggyo-dong, Seoul, discovered the interior of his shop in disarray after arriving at work. Upon reviewing the CCTV footage, he captured the moment when a large number of unidentified individuals entered the cafe's terrace in the middle of the night. A 'No Entry' sign was clearly placed in front of the cafe.

In the footage, these individuals not only moved the cafe's tables and chairs at will but also unfolded and folded the provided parasols to take them away. After a long extension cord was installed and lighting and other filming equipment appeared, Mr. A realized it was a specific drama filming team.

Mr. A stated, "It was so different from when we closed that I reviewed the (CCTV) footage again. We never received any (cooperation request). When I asked other shops, they also said they hadn't been asked for cooperation."

He expressed his frustration, saying, "The fact that they used our property without permission and didn't clean up properly, and if they had contacted us the next day, I would have been less angry."

Mr. A reported the incident to the police and inquired among nearby merchants to obtain the contact information of the filming team. The contacted filming team reportedly responded that they "mistook the filming location."

The production company of the drama stated, "We have formally apologized to the cafe and completed the settlement process." Although the specific drama has not been identified, it seems that the controversy will continue for the time being due to the incident of unauthorized entry.
