Rapper Sani has been cleared of charges related to the unauthorized entry into the residence of a fellow artist.
On the 8th, Sani posted a photo on Instagram without any explanation. The photo is a screenshot of a message sent from the National Investigation Headquarters of the National Police Agency.
The message states, "This is the Yangcheon Police Station in Seoul. We inform you that due to insufficient evidence regarding your violation of the Act on the Punishment of Violent Acts, including joint residential trespass and joint property damage, a decision has been made not to prosecute (no charges)."
Previously, Chinese singer Leta filed a complaint in March against Sani, the representative of her agency Fameus Entertainment, and an agency official, Mr. A, for joint residential trespass and joint property concealment.
According to the complaint, Sani is accused of instructing Mr. A to enter Leta's residence and move or dispose of furniture without the consent of the parties involved while Leta was in her hometown of China due to visa expiration issues. Leta claimed that she had never shared her home password and that all unauthorized entries and movements of property were done without her consent.
Earlier, Sani was also charged in July of last year for assaulting a passerby, Mr. A, with a mobile phone in a park in Mapo-gu, Seoul. At that time, it was reported that Sani told the victim to "properly pull the bicycle." The police also charged Sani's father, who was present at the scene, and Mr. A with mutual assault, but both parties reached an agreement and expressed their desire not to pursue punishment, resulting in a decision to suspend prosecution related to the special injury charges.
