Broadcaster Seo Yu-ri is taking legal action against trolls.
On the 5th, Seo Yu-ri posted a lengthy message on her SNS, saying, "Today, I would like to talk about a somewhat heavy topic."
She continued, "I want to discuss the insults and dissemination of false information by a certain malicious user that have persisted for years in the community related to my streaming, as well as the ongoing cyberbullying that continues to this day."
She expressed her pain, stating, "That malicious user has continuously posted thousands of insulting and false statements, as well as sexual harassment, in the relevant community, and that behavior is still ongoing as of today."
Seo Yu-ri said, "Despite warning the user several times, they have only escalated their malicious behavior by posting mocking content, taking advantage of my personal circumstances that made it difficult for me to respond, and have engaged in online stalking and defamation. Ultimately, I have decided to take legal action as I can no longer tolerate this," emphasizing, "I will hold them accountable through the proper legal procedures."
Seo Yu-ri addressed the troll, saying, "I have something to say to you, who hid behind anonymity and projected your internal conflicts or deficiencies onto others in an attempt to resolve your own feelings of inadequacy. You probably do not feel any guilt at this moment, as you still think your actions are justified. Since you are not recognized in society, you must be living like this online. If you were capable of logical thinking and accurate language, you would not unilaterally condemn others with such lowly language."
She added, "You are a mentally ill person," stating, "You are very abnormal and very foolish. Can you really become invincible as you claim?"
