Veteran actor Shin Gu has lost his wife.
According to reports from the broadcasting industry on the 2nd, Shin Gu's wife, the late Ha Jeong-sook, passed away today at the age of 87.
The funeral hall is set up in room 30 of Asan Medical Center in Seoul. The funeral will be held on the 4th at 5:20 AM.
Shin Gu married the late Ha Jeong-sook in 1974 and they have a son together.
In a past broadcast, Shin Gu revealed, "I dated my wife for 6 years before we got married. We met through an introduction, and I was so taken with her that I followed her around. Our son was born just two months after we got married, and I was in a hurry. That's why we rushed the wedding. I don't think that's a big flaw. I'm grateful to my wife who was with me during those not-so-abundant times."
Shin Gu recently showcased his presence by playing the role of a cult leader, Yeong-chun, who dreams of immortality in the film 'High Five,' which was released in May. He also appeared in the play 'Waiting for Godot' alongside actor Park Geun-hyung until recently.
