Broadcaster Song Eun-yi clarified the rumors about her having assets worth 10 billion.
On the 1st, a video titled ‘The Return of Song Eun-yi’s J Tour in Geumsan!’ was released on the YouTube channel ‘Vivo TV’.
On that day, Song Eun-yi went on a healing J trip to Geumsan, Chungcheongnam-do with the staff of Vivo TV. She stopped at a rest area to share and drink ginseng juice with the staff before moving to a restaurant to enjoy local specialties such as fish soup, doribengbeng, and ginseng fried food.
In particular, the powerful J, Song Eun-yi, caught attention by handing out a tight schedule with exact times to the staff. Having made thorough preparations for the trip, she took charge of all explanations from food to tourist attractions.
While having dinner, the staff started a game to match Song Eun-yi’s thoughts. She posed the question, “Song Eun-yi, known as the 10 billion CEO. If I really had 10 billion, what would I do first?”
The options for the question were ‘Gift the highest quality camper van to Kim Sook’, ‘Give each staff member 1 million won as pocket money’, ‘Repay the company building loan’, and ‘Buy luxury goods for myself’.
The staff were divided, saying, “Being realistic, I think I would repay the loan first,” and “I think I would give each staff member 1 million won.”
Song Eun-yi’s answer was “Repay the loan, give 1 million won to the staff, gift a camper van to Kim Sook, and then buy luxury goods.” She explained, “Since it’s 10 billion, I would first repay the loan to have peace of mind, take care of the staff and Kim Sook. I might not buy luxury goods because I’m not interested.”
Song Eun-yi also said, “I don’t know where the 10 billion rumor came from. I don’t have 10 billion,” tilting her head and making everyone laugh.
Song Eun-yi operates Content Lab Vivo. In particular, she built a new office building with a total of 7 floors, including 1 floor for the branch and 6 above ground, in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul in 2022, earning her the nickname of landlord and asset holder.
Song Eun-yi previously revealed the construction site of the new office through YouTube, stating, “80% of the money is from the bank,” and humbly added, “I think it’s spacious, but it’s a thin building.”
