Aespa's Winter mentioned a broadcast incident that occurred backstage at the Billboard Awards.
On the 1st, Winter appeared on the YouTube channel ‘Theo’ in the episode of ‘Salon Drip 2’.
On that day, Jang Do-yeon asked, "There is a video forever preserved in Winter's voice," and "It was revealed that you were humming 'Whiplash' and chatting backstage at the Billboard Awards. What happened?"
Winter recalled, "At that time, I was in the waiting room. While sitting for a long time during hair and makeup, my voice got hoarse. I jokingly said, 'Where is that delicious smell coming from?' when the curling iron was on the spray, and it smelled like cooking meat."
She continued, "Suddenly, Karina said, 'Your voice went out,' and since there was no context, I thought it meant my voice was hoarse, so I said, '(My voice) didn't go out.' My manager showed me a video that fans had posted, saying it was Winter's voice. I was really shocked. I thought, 'Is the world playing a hidden camera on me?'"
Hearing this, Jang Do-yeon said, "You must have had all sorts of thoughts while being surprised," to which Winter replied, "'Did I say something strange?' and 'How much did they hear?' but it turned out to be longer than I thought. It was really dizzying," she said, bowing her head.
