Comedian Yeom Kyung-hwan revealed the reason for returning to Korea after closing his business in Vietnam.
On the 30th, Yeom Kyung-hwan appeared on the YouTube channel ‘Jjanhan-hyung Shin Dong-yeob’ along with Ji Sang-ryeol.
On that day, Shin Dong-yeob mentioned to Yeom Kyung-hwan, who had previously run a business in Vietnam, “It must have been very difficult when you first returned to Korea.”
Yeom Kyung-hwan recalled, “It was not easy to adapt after going abroad. My wife and children were in Vietnam, and I was going back and forth while running a large sushi restaurant together.” He continued, “My wife got slapped by a drunk person. So I flew to Vietnam. I didn’t receive an apology. That person has a criminal record for assault,” surprising everyone.
He added, “I thought I shouldn’t let this happen to my family. I had ambitions while living abroad, but I felt I needed to come back to Korea. I thought I should focus solely on broadcasting,” explaining the reason for his return to Korea.
