The moments of transformation into associate lawyers of Lee Jong-suk, Moon Ga-young, Kang Yoo-seok, Ryu Hye-young, and Lim Sung-jae in 'Seocho-dong' have been revealed.
The new tvN weekend drama 'Seocho-dong' (written by Lee Seung-hyun / directed by Park Seung-woo / planned by CJ ENM Studios / produced by Green Snake Media), which will premiere on July 5, depicts the growth stories of five associate lawyers (lawyers employed by law firms and receiving a salary) who commute to the Seocho-dong legal town every day.
In the drama, the Hyungmin Building in Seocho-dong's legal town houses various law firms and legal offices, creating a situation where diverse associate lawyers are working. Among them, the 'Avengers of Law' (a combination of Avengers + lawyers), who are highly trusted by the leading lawyers of law firms, are expected to shine, and we have analyzed the unique types of these associate lawyers before their entry into Seocho-dong.
First, the 9-year veteran associate lawyer Ahn Joo-hyung (played by Lee Jong-suk) from the law firm Kyungmin is a rational type who handles clients' defenses with logic and facts, excluding emotions. His thoroughness in reviewing recent case law and his exceptional debating skills developed from a young age make him capable of sharply identifying weaknesses in both his clients and the opposing side, raising expectations for Ahn Joo-hyung's flawless arguments.
Kang Hee-ji (played by Moon Ga-young), a first-year associate lawyer at the law firm Johwa, is the opposite of Ahn Joo-hyung, as she is an empathetic type who wants to comfort not only her clients' cases but also their hearts. She maintains contact with clients she has formed connections with through cases and discovers clues through deep conversations with them. The growth of Kang Hee-ji, who will passionately and warmly advocate for her clients, is highly anticipated.
Jo Chang-won (played by Kang Yoo-seok), an associate lawyer at the law firm Chunggong, is an all-rounder who experiences a tumultuous daily life under a representative lawyer who only pursues money. He becomes a reluctant companion to a client imprisoned in jail and a strong ally to a victim of fraud, making his varied life in Seocho-dong, which oscillates between highs and lows multiple times a day, noteworthy.
Bae Moon-jung (played by Ryu Hye-young), an associate lawyer at the law firm Kyungmin, has a warm personality but is meticulous when it comes to work. Although she appears to be playing and resting every day, she is a capable individual who not only prepares necessary documentation but also meticulously checks even the smallest details. Attention is drawn to Bae Moon-jung's hidden strength behind her lovely smile.
Lastly, Ha Sang-ki (played by Lim Sung-jae), the only member of the Avengers of Law affiliated with a legal office, is a capitalist lawyer who beams with joy at any incentive, no matter how much work there is. He enjoys discussing case details with the lead lawyer Kim Ryu-jin (played by Kim Ji-hyun) every night, and the knowledge he hones will be effectively utilized for defending clients.
Thus, the various types of associate lawyers, from rational types to capitalist pursuers, have also been revealed in court, attracting attention. The activities of the five associate lawyers, who will represent their clients' wishes in their own ways and showcase the charm of professional workers, are becoming a point of curiosity.
'Seocho-dong' will premiere on July 5 at 9:20 PM on tvN.
