Choi Min-hwan, a member of the band FT Island (Lee Hong-ki, Lee Jae-jin, Choi Min-hwan), who had suspended activities due to the fallout from his ex-wife Yul-hee's prostitution allegations, is resuming domestic activities.
According to his agency FNC Entertainment on the 30th, Choi Min-hwan will join the FT Island concert '2025 FTISLAND LIVE 'MAD HAPPY'' to be held on August 23 and 24 at the Blue Square SOL Travel Hall in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul.
The agency announced the concert details, stating, "Lee Hong-ki, Lee Jae-jin, and Choi Min-hwan are scheduled to participate," and requested that fans take note when purchasing tickets.
Previously, Choi Min-hwan had suspended team activities following the personal revelations made by his ex-wife Yul-hee, a former member of the group Laboum, in October of last year.
At that time, Choi Min-hwan was accused of prostitution and sexual assault following Yul-hee's allegations, but the police dismissed the charges due to insufficient evidence. Since then, he has been taking steps to return by participating in the FT Island live tour held in Japan since March.
This will be FT Island's domestic concert in about a year since their '2024 FTISLAND LIVE 'PULSE'' held in June of last year.
Tickets will be available for pre-sale for Weverse membership subscribers starting July 3 at 8 PM, with general sales beginning on July 9 at 8 PM.
