Comedian Yoon Hyung-bin (45) achieved a TKO victory against YouTuber Banzz (35) in a mixed martial arts match.
On the 28th, 'Gubne ROAD FC 073' was held at the Jangchung Gymnasium in Jung-gu, Seoul, where Yoon Hyung-bin faced off against Banzz in a special event match at -76kg.
This match was Yoon Hyung-bin's official retirement fight, which was arranged at Banzz's request. It attracted attention with the condition that he would delete his YouTube channel if he lost.
On that day, Yoon Hyung-bin secured a TKO victory over Banzz just 1 minute and 42 seconds into the first round. After a brief exploratory phase, Yoon Hyung-bin landed a hook that knocked Banzz down, and he pushed for the victory with ground and pound.
After the match, Yoon Hyung-bin stated, "I hope my wife and family won't worry too much since it ended well," and added, "It was my retirement fight, and my coach helped me so much, I am very grateful. I am putting down my fighting gloves here, but I will always support."
Regarding the deletion of Banzz's YouTube channel, he said, "I won't delete Banzz's channel. However, I think it would be good to upload my videos on Banzz's channel in the future," he laughed.
Afterward, Yoon Hyung-bin's wife, Jeong Kyung-mi, wrote on her social media, "Thank you so much to everyone who supported today's match. It may seem like I'm at ease, but I'm not. Let's stop fighting now, honey."
She continued, "It's my husband who builds his body through exercise, and he looks great, the best among 47-year-olds," and added, "You did well! Honey, just try to do it again, please don't ask me to do it next to you."
