Actor Kim Soo-hyun's side has expressed that the provisional seizure of real estate worth 3 billion won by an advertiser is unjust.
On the 12th, Kim Soo-hyun's legal representative, lawyer Bang Seong-hoon from LK Partners, stated in a phone call with Maeil Business Star Today, "It is true that a unit of Galleria Fore has been provisionally seized," adding, "The responsibility for this lies entirely with Gaseyeon."
Lawyer Bang argued, "Kim Soo-hyun is a victim of Gaseyeon (Garo Sero Research Institute). The issues should be raised against the perpetrators, but since the contractual relationship is on this side, the arrows of blame are directed at the victim."
He continued, "From the advertisers' perspective, it is true that they are incurring losses because they have paid the costs but cannot execute them. However, who created this situation? Gaseyeon is responsible. Once it is revealed through investigation that Gaseyeon's claims are false, and Kim Soo-hyun restores his honor as a model, I believe the advertisers will have no reason to maintain the lawsuit."
He also stated, "We will do our utmost to prove that Gaseyeon's claims are completely false and that they are committing serious crimes, and to ensure that the investigation proceeds quickly."
Classys filed for a provisional seizure of Kim Soo-hyun's real estate on May 8, and the Seoul Eastern District Court granted the provisional seizure on May 20, deciding to provisionally seize the Galleria Fore apartment owned by Kim Soo-hyun. The claimed amount is reported to be 3 billion won.
Kim Soo-hyun purchased a total of three Galleria Fore units in 2013 and 2014, and Classys has provisionally seized the unit that was purchased first.
Previously, Kim Soo-hyun had placed a provisional seizure on the Seoul apartment owned by Kim Se-yi, the representative of Gaseyeon, who claimed to have had a relationship with the late Kim Sae-ron, as well as on the sponsorship account of the Gaseyeon YouTube channel. On the 9th, the court granted the provisional seizure application for the apartment (120.27㎡) in the Beksan Blooming complex in Seocho-gu, owned by representative Kim Se-yi, and the apartment (208.65㎡) in the Hanyang 4th complex in Apgujeong-dong, Gangnam-gu. The claimed amount is 2 billion won each, totaling 4 billion won.
