Actor Park Yoon-ho showcased a wide range of acting skills.
In the tvN weekend drama 'Unknown Seoul' (written by Lee Kang, directed by Park Shin-woo and Nam Geon), Park Yoon-ho played the role of Lee Ho-soo during his high school years, a character with deep wounds, convincingly portraying a complex narrative with delicate expressiveness.
In the last broadcast, an episode revealing the traffic accident that caused Ho-soo's physical disabilities was aired. Ho-soo lost his father in an unexpected traffic accident during middle school, resulting in burn scars from his neck to one arm, one leg replaced with artificial bones, and hearing loss in one ear, evoking sympathy.
Due to the aftereffects of the traffic accident, Ho-soo was exempted from a school hiking event, but he impulsively decided to climb the mountain. Mi-ji (played by Lee Jae-in) stayed by his side, and Ho-soo reached the summit with his painful leg, marking a turning point in his life and the beginning of his first love.
As misunderstandings arose between Ho-soo and Mi-ji, they grew increasingly distant, deepening the emotional rift. Nevertheless, Ho-soo displayed his lingering affection by getting into fights with friends who mocked Mi-ji, adding tension to the plot's development.
Park Yoon-ho enhanced the immersion of the drama by intricately expressing Ho-soo's unstable adolescent years and sensitive inner self. Following 'Study Group' and 'Someday, Wise Resident Life,' he left a strong impression with his performance that added depth to his character in 'Unknown Seoul.'
'Unknown Seoul' airs every Saturday and Sunday at 9:20 PM.
