Singer Lee Mujin has recently been revealed to have been subjected to abuse by staff.
The 2025 Cheonan K-Culture Expo organizers stated on the 5th through their official account, "An unfortunate incident occurred due to communication issues among the on-site staff during the rehearsal for the opening ceremony performance," and added, "We sincerely apologize to the audience and fans for this."
They continued, "After the incident, the staff involved sincerely apologized to the artist and related parties, and we have issued a strong warning and conducted internal training for the event management agency and the staff to prevent such situations from occurring in the future."
They also added, "Once again, we sincerely apologize to the artist and fans who experienced discomfort, as well as to the audience present at the event."
Previously, Lee Mujin attended the opening ceremony performance of the 2025 Cheonan K-Culture Expo. A video circulated on social media showing a staff member using informal language with Lee Mujin and forcibly interrupting the rehearsal, which sparked controversy.
