tvN's ‘You Quiz on the Block’ reveals a variety of stories from its cast.

In the 292nd episode of ‘You Quiz on the Block’ (directed by Kwak Cheong-ah and Hong Jin-joo, written by Lee Eon-joo), which airs on the 7th, the first foreign gayageum graduate in Korea, Professor Joselyn Clark, middle school student Lee Ji-seop who trains wasps, and superstar Jennie, who just rocked Coachella, will appear.

Professor Joselyn Clark, the first foreign gayageum graduate from Alaska, visits ‘You Quiz’. As the descendant of the ‘Alaska Jo family’, Joselyn, who earned a PhD from Harvard with gayageum singing, is a polyglot fluent in five languages. She will share how she became fascinated with the traditional Korean instrument, gayageum, after learning Japanese koto and Chinese guzheng. After starting to learn gayageum at the National Gugak Center in Korea in 1992, her journey living in a boarding house in Sinlim-dong, intertwined with modern Korean history, is expected to add more interest. The behind-the-scenes story of her gayageum playing skills, which she honed through blistering and bleeding, and her journey of training for 15 years between Jeonju and Daejeon to become a gayageum graduate will also be inspiring. Viewers can also look forward to her gayageum performance and heartfelt trot singing, along with a past episode of Yoo Jae-suk's ‘Infinite Challenge’ that visited Alaska.

The story of middle school student Lee Ji-seop, who even trains wasps, is also intriguing. Lee Ji-seop gained attention as the star of a viral video on social media, which has surpassed 34 million views, where he trains wasps. He will also bring along ‘Mr. Kim the Wasp’, along with stag beetles, rhinoceros beetles, caterpillars, and frogs to ‘You Quiz’, increasing interest. Lee Ji-seop has a unique passion for insects and biology, sharing his own created biological encyclopedia since he was 7 years old, leaving a deep impression. Although he claims to have no interests outside of insects, he expresses his fan feelings towards a girl group, raising curiosity about the story behind it. All of Lee Ji-seop's stories, the future of the insect world in Korea, will be revealed in the broadcast.

Global icon Jennie, who has colored the world ruby red, meets Yoo Jae-suk and Jo Se-ho. Recently returning from successfully completing the world’s largest music festival, Coachella, Jennie is set to reveal behind-the-scenes stories of legendary performances that she continues to revisit. She will share the secret of how she was able to perform 13 songs live for a whopping 50 minutes without changing outfits, as well as the touching backstory of her ending comment “I love you, Mom,” which brought both her and her mother to tears. Along with episodes related to her mother, who emphasized hair health since her childhood, viewers will hear Jennie's honest stories that have never been heard before. Even Yoo Jae-suk, who has a long-standing friendship with Jennie, was reportedly surprised by her rediscovery, saying, “I’ve never heard such stories before.”

Jennie will share her experiences as a teenager studying abroad in New Zealand, where she encountered various cultures, as well as her six years as a YG trainee, which she endured through faith, and her journey to debut with BLACKPINK. Although she became part of a K-pop girl group that conquered the world upon debut, she will also discuss the human struggles of a superstar who had no time to take care of herself and was completely exhausted. Viewers will also get a first look at Jennie's other side as she has become a company representative, along with stories about BLACKPINK's activities, which will reunite in July. The spontaneous collaboration between Yoo Jae-suk (as his alter ego Yoo Jennie) and Kim Jennie is sure to spark curiosity. The ‘like JENNIE’ challenge featuring Jennie and her two selves will be released in a 360-degree cam version, heating up the atmosphere even more.

tvN’s ‘You Quiz on the Block’ airs every Wednesday at 8:45 PM.
