Actress Kim Sung-ryung's agency is taking legal action against fraudulent activities that misuse her photos for investment attraction.
On the 18th, FN Entertainment, Kim Sung-ryung's agency, stated, "We have confirmed multiple cases where Kim Sung-ryung's photos have been used without permission for fraudulent activities aimed at attracting investments." They emphasized, "We want to make it clear that the actress and the agency have no connection to these fraudulent investment activities that promise high returns."
They further stated, "Photos, videos, and other works of Kim Sung-ryung are legally protected rights. We will take legal action in accordance with copyright law if they are used without permission or maliciously altered."
The agency added, "We are currently taking thorough internal measures regarding this matter, and we will do our best to protect the rights of our artist. We will continue to monitor the situation and respond strongly."
Kim Sung-ryung starred as Oh Geum-hee in the JTBC weekend drama "Quiet Sales," which ended in November last year, contributing to its success. Her next project is the new tvN drama "Please Drink Responsibly."
