Broadcaster and actress Kim Kyung-ran revealed that she started acting in plays thanks to Choi Bool-am.
On the 4th, Kim Kyung-ran, a former announcer, appeared as a guest on TV CHOSUN's 'Perfect Life'.
Currently starring in the play 'The Seagull', Kim Kyung-ran said, "I play the role of Polina, who is unhappy living with her oppressive and unreasonable husband while secretly in love with a country doctor. I show various emotions, wanting to be loved by that country doctor, including being sulky, angry, and playful."
When asked about the reason she started acting in plays, she shared, "I saw a one-person play once. There was one person standing in that small world on stage, and I wondered how their energy could overwhelm us. I felt a sense of awe towards that energy."
She continued, "Later, I had a bucket list item to do a play before I die, and while talking with Teacher Choi Bool-am in 2015, he said, 'Really? Then why not give it a try?' and that's how I ended up doing the play 'See You Again'. I stumbled into it without knowing much."
Kim Kyung-ran also mentioned, "As time went on, I started doing plays at the suggestion of senior Jo Hye-ryun, and after doing one, two, three, and now up to seven or eight plays, here I am."
