Broadcaster Jang Sung-kyu has stepped down from ‘Workman,’ which he hosted for 6 years.

On the 30th, a video titled “Thank you for everything” was released on the YouTube channel ‘Workman.’

On that day, Jang Sung-kyu appeared, jokingly saying, “The weather is really nice. It’s a good day to step down.”

His farewell ceremony took place at a performance venue. Jang Sung-kyu met with viewers through ‘Workman’ for 6 years since 2019. In terms of days, he experienced 253 different jobs over 2199 days.

The farewell ceremony was attended by colleagues he worked with at theaters and amusement parks, as well as guests who appeared on the show, including Epik High, Lee Sang-yeob, and Da-young.

The production team organized a summary of Jang Sung-kyu’s 6-year history, and he was moved by their thoughtfulness. Receiving a plaque of appreciation, Jang Sung-kyu said, “Thank you for coming for my farewell. ‘Workman’ is the program that gave birth to broadcaster Jang Sung-kyu. I realized I liked ‘Workman’ more than I thought. Thank you for preparing my farewell so beautifully with such care. ‘Workman’. And thank you to you guys (subscribers).”

Jang Sung-kyu also expressed, “I’m not good at farewells, but I learned how to say goodbye from you. Thank you for providing a space for the past 6 years. I won’t forget it. ‘Workman’ has already given me so much. It’s a perfect score of 5 out of 5.”
