MBC has scheduled the Disney+ series 'Casino' (2022-2023), which was released two years ago, while the internal drama starring Ji Sung, 'Judge Lee Han-young', has been postponed to next year.

On the 28th, MBC announced that it will sequentially present all episodes of Seasons 1 and 2 through this scheduling.

'Season 1' (a total of 8 episodes) will air every Friday and Saturday at 10 PM throughout July, targeting the vacation season. The following 'Season 2' (also a total of 8 episodes) will be fixed to air every Sunday night starting in August. Unlike the OTT release, which had breaks between seasons, the terrestrial broadcast aims to enhance immersion and viewer convenience through continuous scheduling.

Previously, MBC had successfully garnered positive viewer responses by scheduling the Disney+ original series 'Moving' for binge-watching during the Christmas season and then airing it every Sunday night starting in January.

Aiming for a content-centered viewer service, the strategy is to broaden the content choices for viewers who missed out on mega-hit works.

'Casino' is a crime action drama depicting the intense psychological battle between 'Cha Mu-sik', a legendary figure in the Philippine casino world who makes a final gamble after his downfall, and 'Oh Seung-hoon', a Korean desk detective who relentlessly pursues him.

Directed by Kang Yoon-sung, known for films like 'The Outlaws' and 'Long Live the King', this is his first drama series. Choi Min-sik returns to drama after 26 years since 'Love and Separation' to play the role of 'Cha Mu-sik', while Son Seok-koo delivers a powerful performance as the opposing detective 'Oh Seung-hoon'.

MBC plans to maintain a viewing rating of 19 and older based on the original work. However, according to broadcasting review standards, while the core message and quality of the work will be preserved, some expressions will be edited to comply with broadcasting review criteria.
